Naruto Episode 038 : Those Who Pass Cut Down to Half!? It’s Unexpected Fight!
Gekkou Hayate,the judge of the Third Exam explain that the contestant who pass the Second Exam was too many.So,before the Third Exam begin,there will be a preliminary exam to decrease the contestant.It will be a one on one fight and its a death or live fight.And the winner will enter the Third Exam.Before the preliminary exam begin,he give a chance for the contestant who feel not able to enter the preliminary exam to back off.

Seeing Sasuke’s condition looks like not able to do the battle,Sakura ask Sasuke to withdraw.But Sasuke refuse it,because he go along this exam is not only to be a chunin.He just want an answer "is he strong or not".And here he can find many strong ninja.It doesn’t matter if he can’t be a chunin,provided that he can fight many strong ninja.
When Sakura want to talk about Sasuke’s wound at his neck,suddenly Kabuto raise his hand and withdraw.He say that his body were not able to more fight and his left ear can’t hear anything after he fight with ninja from Country of Wind before the Exam.
After none of the contestant who want to withdraw,the preliminary exam begin.There is no rule on this fight.The fighter will be random.And the first battle is between Sasuke and Orochimaru’s Akadou Yoroi.
Akadou Yoroi
Before the fight begin,Kakashi come to Sasuke and interdict Sasuke not to use his Sharingan cause it can endanger his life.And if Sasuke use it,the fight will canceled by Kakashi.
The battle begin,at the beginning Sasuke looks like can oppese Yoroi easily untill Yoroi’s hand touch Sasuke’s body and suddenly Sasuke’s body become fading.Turn out to be Yoroi have an abilities to take over enemy’s chakra using his hand.
